Lost in Adventure

Do you feel a little lost after a time of adventure, excitement, fun with family and friends? You know, like the holiday that was just yesterday but is already a memory.
Do you feel a little lost because the weekend passed and nothing special happened? Or maybe because something is broken and you don’t know how to fix it.
Do you feel a little lost because you face an uncertain future? I think about this alot when I let the enemy of my soul sit on my shoulder and whisper lies into my mind.
Satan is always ready to tell me God doesn’t care about me and has no plans for my life. Before those thoughts worm their way into my mind, I kick that vicious enemy to the curb and replace those insidious thoughts with truth.
You can too. Don’t be lost. Don’t let negative thoughts get inside your mind where they are as dangerous as unattended fireworks.
God has something precious and bold to say about that.
This is what the Lord who created you says – “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. You are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you. Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
Isaiah 43:1-5
