It’s the weekend! Did you sleep well last night? We had our doors and windows open and didn’t wake in panic at hear rain pour in. But now it’s time to get UP UP UP! Where’s your list? Where’s your tools? Where’s your coffee? OH …. and the most important …. Where is your foundation? Where is your center?
Hebrews 11:1-2 from the Message “The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.” …
The firm foundation. It’s what we need everyday whether we’re on top of the world or in struggle. Remember the prescription for a peaceful heart. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Be steadfast. Let’s not be moved off center because of circumstances or mistakes. Stay the course. You’ve got this! Let’s get out there!
